The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, a highly regarded national voluntary health services agency, is seeking a talented Associate Executive Director for its Greater Illinois Chapter, located in Chicago. The Associate Executive Director will be responsible for assisting the Executive Director in oversight of all aspects of chapter management including staff management and fundraising. Fundraising activities will include Special Events, Major Gifts, Corporate Sponsorships and Planned Giving with a total revenue objective in excess of $4 Million.

Areas of Responsibility: 

The Associate Executive Director will oversee a full staff of professionals who are involved in special event fundraising activities, major gifts, planned giving initiatives, and volunteer recruitment/management.

Skills/Experience: 
  • Successful candidates will demonstrate a proven track record of successful fundraising, with an ability to “raise the bar” annually, demonstrate excellent leadership and managerial skills, including volunteer recruitment and retention, board development.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of successful fundraising experience is a must.
  • Previous P&L responsibility is preferred.
