Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) seeks a dynamic and effective The Director, Affiliate Employee Experience is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, sustaining, and evaluating the In This Together Program, including In This Together for Leaders, Workplace Values, Service Standards, new modules as informed by the data, and the Mind Sciences on Difference, in partnership with affiliates and in collaboration with the National Director, Employee Experience and Engagement.
This position is also responsible for deploying data-informed employee engagement programs, tools, trainings, and tactics to affiliate organizations in coordination with affiliate leaders, and under the guidance of the PPeXecutive Committee. Position leverages the expertise of both external and internal partners (e.g., the Perception Institute, organization design and employee engagement experts, Press Ganey, etc.) and the Race Equity Initiative of the Division of the Chief Brand & Experience Officer.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Based on employee engagement data, develop new strategies to support employee engagement across the federation and partner with affiliates on the piloting and scaling of interventions.
- Partner with affiliates and other internal and external stakeholders to implement In This Together program fully at affiliates--program for leaders, Workplace Values, Service Standards, sustainability programs, and new modules based on data-identified opportunities.
- Ensure ongoing training of trainers for the In This Together program.
- Present In This Together program successes and learnings at national conferences, in publications, etc.
- Collaboration with national experts, (i.e. Perception Institute) to continually develop, refine, and revise the branded Mind Sciences on Difference program.
- Innovate through conducting research on national and global trends on Diversity/Equity and Inclusion and update Mind Science Program to reflect latest thinking and research on difference.
- Conduct Needs Assessment and other activities to determine readiness of affiliate to launch Mind Sciences on Difference including analysis of the engagement data, and review of the affiliate’s In This Together implementation.
- Lead Design and Development and continuous update of program content to ensure it includes Adult Learning Theory and Principles and is delivered in most engaging and cost effective manner.
- Oversee implementation of program, leading Training of Trainers and Table Captains as necessary
- Lead measurement of effectiveness of program by building scorecard and sharing data with leadership and key stakeholders.
- Advocate and Influence how affiliates who complete Mind Sciences operationalize Diversity/Inclusion and Equity into their day to day business operations; recommend programs/trainings/tools/tactics to build upon this work and implement policies/procedures/practices that support racial equity in affiliates at organizational levels.
- Build and manage Mind Science on Difference budget.
- Present on the Mind Sciences on Difference program at national meetings and in publications.
- Lead the program to identify, train, and certify new affiliate leaders to deliver the Mind Sciences on Difference curriculum.
REQUIREMENTS / TECHNICAL EXPERTISE
- 8 years of Group Facilitation, Program Management, Instructional Design experience.
- Advanced knowledge of Google Drive, Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook.
