ReStore Resource & Training Sr. Specialist

Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) is currently seeking a seasoned professional to serve as the ReStore Resource & Training Sr. Specialist with the ReStore Support Group. Reporting to the Director of ReStore Support, the ReStore Resource & Training Sr. Specialist will lead the resources and communication efforts for the ReStore Collaborative Program and National ReStore Support needs. Striving for collaborative development and thoughtful distribution, the work of this position will spread best practices to the ReStore community.This position will be located in our Administrative Headquarters in Atlanta, Georiga and will require approximately 10% domestic travel. 

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Work with assigned ReStore team members to manage logistics for live training events 
  • Coordinate with internal & external resources for annual course offerings and facilitator scheduling
  • Help facilitate and present materials at live training events
  • Work with assigned ReStore team members & other HFHI teams and resources to manage the course offerings, course creation and annual calendar for virtual training events ** Coordinate resources and manage content for internal Knowledge sharing platform 
  • Work with the ReStore Program Specialist & other groups to review and assist with the consolidation and reorganization of resources hosted on my.habitat.org 
  • Coordinate the long term maintenance of My.Habitat resources
  • Work with ReStore team to gather content for weekly Collaborative Program member emails and monthly national emails 
  • Manage the e-mail distribution processes through Inmotion and the HFHI communications department to effectively send communications 
  • Maintain the member email lists & share communications tracking with internal partners
  • Work with ReStore team and US Council committee to learn from and help direct subcommittee work gathering feedback and helping to integrate the suggestions into day to day support
Educational Background: 
Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Public Administration, International Development or related field or equivalent experience
Skills/Experience: 
  • 4 to 6 years experience in Training support or Communications
  • Must have worked in the Habitat ReStore or Habitat for Humanity community for minimum of 2 years
  • Must demonstrate ability to design, implement and evaluate training coursework from stores and leadership
  • Must have experience with training facilitation and presentation
  • Must have excellent presentation skills, writing skills, and good verbal communication skills
  • Must have experience hosting events with 60+ attendees
  • Must have experience with online platforms: Basecamp project management, GoToTraining/Meeting, Google online sharing tools, My.Habitat 
  • Organized, strategic thinker who is attentive to detail and can collaborate effectively 
  • Demonstrated capability to design and deliver high quality projects on time, and within budget
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneoulsy 
  • Connection with adult learning resources (such as ATD) beneficial but not required
