Associate Director, Government Grants Administrator

The Associate Director, Government Grants Administrator will be responsible for post-award administration of a multi-disciplinary portfolio of 225 active government grants, at different stages of activity representing $22-25M in annual funding.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Oversee the Grants Management System (AMPLIFUND)   to track, maintain and organize grant documents and data including contract period, award amount, CFDA number, and reporting requirements
  • Serve as a liaison with Area, Regions and Chapter Finance and Program staff to ensure government grant reporting and audit requirements are met
  • Review grantee progress and financial reports and identify discrepancies
  • Maintain support documentation for time and effort tracking
  • Apply process improvement and efficiency methods and standards across chapters
  • Support the Single Audit of Federal grants
  • Support Government Grants Manager with related to compliance tasks
  • Performs other essential tasks and duties required to support the Government Grant Manager, Finance department, and Chapters as needed
Educational Background: 
Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred
Skills/Experience: 
  • Three years direct work experience with post-award management of Federal grants 
  • Working knowledge of OMB Uniform Guidance 
  • Skilled user of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Experienced and comfortable working with numbers and in databases
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Strong document management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well independently and with a team
  • Excellent time management skills, aptitude for proper task prioritization, and a results-oriented work process
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters with tact and discretion
