Lead the development and execution of an enterprise analytics strategy that drives measurement and progress against the Society’s strategic plan. Identify and answer key business questions in partnership with functional areas and provide best practice insights covering mission, revenue, and competitive marketplace to the enterprise based on sound analysis and analytics. Work cross functionally across the organization to drive cohesive analyses and analytics within functional areas. Lead development and ongoing evolution of enterprise key performance metrics and track progress via Board and CEO operational dashboards.As assigned, support strategic planning initiatives for the Society in partnership with senior leadership and their staff across the enterprise. Support development of strategic planning frameworks and ongoing planning process that support the Society’s mission and Board of Director’s priority outcomes and drive development of key tactics across the enterprise to ensure progress against outcomes. Support development of key performance metrics and track progress via Board and operational level dashboards. Support priority initiatives and projects including business development research and analysis; due diligence efforts; and business process optimization and integration that support the Society’s strategic plan.
- Develop and lead the enterprise analytics function for the enterprise
- Develop deep understanding of all analysis and analytics functions within the Society; make recommendations and lead changes as required to drive the enterprise analytics strategy
- Lead analysis and analytics to answer key set of enterprise business questions and drive development and delivery of best practice insights for the enterprise that drive progress against our mission and revenue strategies
- Maintain current set of competitive market analyses
- Recommend appropriate analytics and visualization technology as required to drive the enterprise analytics strategy
- Maintain and evolve the board balanced scorecard and CEO operational dashboard to drive progress against the strategic plan
- Conduct business analysis for various projects and business development opportunities; support SVP in due diligence and business integration teams
- Proactively identify, research, and propose strategic project opportunities to senior management
- Support research and maintenance of updated business development opportunities in partnership with senior staff;
- Serve as a key team member for assigned projects: support or lead cross functional project team including budget management, project goals, milestones, and key success factors
- Present project results to various audiences including senior staff and volunteer leadership
- Develop critical partnerships with assigned senior management and other functional leaders as required
- Maintain strong understanding of the Society’s mission, priority outcomes, financial, and strategic plans; additionally, remain aware of annual operating and financial plans to ensure cohesive and aligned with enterprise planning work
