Engage effectively with staff at all levels to lead, support and develop staff to achieve high levels of productivity with a focus on building high functioning teams. Managing the planning and operations of a large team including recruiting, hiring, developing, coaching, building a cohesive corporate culture, and balancing workload to appropriately meet cyclical processing requirements.This position provides management, planning, production oversight, continual process improvement, new product design & deployment, and customer interaction for all OCFO operations related to batching, scanning, data capture/entry/delivery processing.  This includes all paper documents & electronic records related to: cash receipts, events, constituent relationship management system scannable & electronic forms and patient referral and various other intake forms for mission programs. Additionally, this position manages the related exception handling activities for all of these functions. This position works closely with several departments within the organization and other functions within OCFO.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Managing the planning and operations of the transaction batching, imaging, and processing activities on a daily basis including recruiting, hiring, and assigning staff to balance workload appropriately and meet cyclical processing requirements.
  • Engage effectively with staff at all levels to lead, support and develop staff to achieve high levels of productivity with a focus on building high functioning teams.
  • Developing and tracking appropriate performance measures.
  • Developing a service-oriented culture with consistently high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Developing and implementing appropriate training and continuous improvement programs to support all processing and workflow tracking functions throughout the organization.
  • Providing leadership with expert advice on transaction management, data extraction/entry, process and relevant technologies.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve transaction processing enterprise-wide.
  • Overseeing and assisting with design and testing of new processes and/or technologies.
  • Effectively take a lead role in the development of any new and improved products & services related to constituent data. Ensure that all research & development for products & services, (both existing and new), meet the organization’s needs.
  • Developing and effectively managing the operation to an annual budget.
  • Effectively monitoring departmental data security policies and practices to ensure utmost stewardship of customer and constituent information and to see to the safety & accountability of staff.
  • Developing and maintaining strong vendor relationships through contract development, negotiation, and ongoing interaction.
  • In coordination with the Sourcing function, managing related outsource arrangements with 3rd party vendors.
  • Providing leadership and guidance for any related process centralization initiatives as well as for new service or product offerings.
  • Working with key customers and senior management to ensure that established performance and quality standards are met.
  • Working with Corporate IT to ensure the system is maintained and upgraded to optimize performance.
  • Working Intra-departmentally to maintain data integrity and ensure the timely delivery of data services to clients & end-users.
Educational Background: 
The candidate must have an undergraduate degree, preferably with a financial or information technology background.
Skills/Experience: 

Eight to ten years managerial experience and preferred experience with Document capture/imaging technology

Specialized Training or Knowledge: The candidate should possess the following specialized training or knowledge:

  • Experience running a customer-focused operation,
  • Experience in effectively managing highly functioning teams
  • Preferred experience managing a large technology-enabled processing center, and
  • Project management experience,
  • Process improvement acumen,
  • Preferred experience in financial & bank depository best-practices disciplines.
