President Opportunity
As the workforce development organization for the Northeast Florida region, CareerSource Northeast Florida (CareerSource NEFL) forges working partnerships with local communities, elected officials, business, labor and education leaders to improve workforce education, employment and training opportunities in Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau, Putnam and St. Johns counties. CareerSource NEFL is a publicly funded agency that provides improved employment opportunities through education, training and career services for job seekers. They also help businesses identify and hire qualified workers.
CareerSource NEFL is seeking a President to lead and implement the strategies set by the Board of Directors in accordance with the Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act and other federal and state governing statutes. The President will provide strategic direction, operational management, and collaborative leadership to advance the mission and vision of the organization. As the primary spokesperson and representative for the workforce development board, the President will foster strong relationships in the community. The President will lead a dedicated, professional staff ensuring that Northeast Florida will have a world-class workforce development system that enables local businesses to be leaders in the global economy.
Minimum of five years’ senior management experience. Preferred experience in non-profit, government or employment and training programs.
