Regional Trainer

Responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, implementing and evaluating training and development activities for the agency.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Design, implement, and deliver training programs appropriate for all staff, including clinical, administrative and management.
  • Work closely with quality assurance, patient services management and other department leadership to assess training and development needs and create curricula accordingly.
  • Develop a staff training program and materials that are responsive to the needs of the agency and ensure programs are aligned with the agency’s strategies and goals.
  • Develop and maintain annual training calendar for required PPFA trainings.
  • Develop a training tracking and measurement system. 
  • Develop and manage 3 Regional Trainers (i.e. hire, train, coach, discipline, etc.) ensuring that appropriate subject knowledge and skills are developed within each individual.
  • Network with training organizations as needed.
  • Ability to travel statewide and remain overnight as needed. 
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s degree preferred. 
Skills/Experience: 

Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a training management role designing and developing training programs required.  Experience working in the health care field preferred.  Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is necessary.
