The American Heart Association (AHA) has an excellent opportunity for a PROJECT COORDINATOR in our NATIONAL CENTER office located in DALLAS, TX. The Project Coordinator will provide project coordination and administrative support for the activities of the Voices for Healthy Kids initiative. The Project Coordinator manages daily and recurring project activities relating to the management of the initiative’s state and community public policy change efforts. This position works independently to accomplish project-related goals in support of American Heart Association’s goals; support organizing meetings and teleconferences as needed, coordinating regular communications with internal and external stakeholders.

Required Experience
- Minimum three (3) years of related, relevant experience.
- Prior accounts payable and contract management of low to mid-level volumes.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to initiate projects, provide follow-through, work with minimum supervision, and devise alternative solutions as necessary.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to operate in high pressure environment, prioritize work assignments, meet multiple deadlines, and monitor several projects simultaneously and functions independently with minimal supervision.
- Full understanding of Microsoft office products.
