Summary: This position provides design services, strategy and conceptualization to support national corporate sponsorship programs. It supports the corporate alliances team in developing marketing and graphic/creative design strategies and services to secure new and increase support from existing national corporate sponsors. The ideal candidate will have corporate experience in a sales driven organization. The position will report to the Director of Creative Services to ensure strategies are in line with the Make-A-Wish brand strategy and guidelines.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B.A) in graphic design, visual arts, or related field from four-year college or university; three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have advanced skills in design software required, including advanced skills in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign.
- Experience and understanding of web page design.
- Knowledge of Apple-based office computers, with proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite.
- Knowledge of printing processes required, including pre-press protocols for graphic design.
Other Skills and Abilities
- At least three years experience as a professional graphic artist, with experience in producing a wide range of printed and electronic promotional materials
- Experience at a public relations or advertising agency and/or a major non-profit organization desirable
- Portfolio work required; must be compromised of work created and designed exclusively by the graphic artist

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Graphic Design
- Design sponsorship proposals and presentations to effectively sell in new sponsorship programs utilizing a customized approach integrating the sponsor/potential sponsor’s brand and its attributes into the sales pitch.
- Design customized sponsorship proposals, presentations and reports for existing sponsors that showcase ROI for the sponsor, key metrics that align with the goals and objectives of sponsorship and impact utilizing the corporate brand attributes and campaign design elements. The primary goal of these proposals is to renew and upsell existing sponsors.
- Develop and maintain the online Sponsor Tool and Resources center.
- Design content and manage Sponsor Tool and Resources center.
- Ensure new and fresh content to support sponsorship activation throughout the year
- Quickly respond to sponsor requests for new tools requested by sponsors
Develop sponsorship resources for chapters (i.e. templates, toolkits, in-kind sell sheets) to activate sponsorship programs successfully in their markets. Create advertisements for sponsor related programs to support sponsorships and workplace giving programs.
- Provide design support for sponsor content for wish.org that provides value to the sponsor and engage visitors in supporting sponsorship programs.
- Ensure projects serve intended communication function while reflecting the brand standards established and maintain the professional appearance befitting a national charity and the embodiment of our unique mission.
- Serves as liaison to printing/production vendors to ensure materials created are delivered to the vendors in the appropriate format, and are printed professionally and to the precise printing specifications.
- Maintains working files and archives artwork.
- Manages and oversees the work of the Corporate Alliances Graphics Specialist, ensuring their output aligns with the goals and strategies of both the Brand Advancement and Corporate Alliances team.
- Design marketing collateral, signage, and recognition materials for national corporate sponsors.
Sales and Marketing Strategy
- Work with Corporate Alliance leadership to develop creative strategies for sponsorship proposals, sponsorship presentations, sponsorship reports, activation materials, etc.
Project Management
- Works with Traffic Manager to manage workload for corporate alliance graphic materials covering a wide variety of projects and audiences.
- Ensure projects meet deadlines and the needs of target audiences.
- Regularly meets with creative services team and corporate alliances team.
- Follow Brand Advancement workflow process including using project management tool for all projects.
Freelance
- As needed, manages freelance designers as needed to ensure clarity, professionalism, high quality, and consistent voice and style in all materials.
