Job Description: Habitat for Humanity in Monmouth County (HFHMC) is seeking to add energetic and service oriented professionals to our ReStore team. The ReStore Driver will continually refresh the ReStore’s inventory by picking up donated merchandise throughout our service area (Western and Northeastern Monmouth County) as well as serve as an ambassador by maintaining a positive relationship with donors through excellent customer service.
The Habitat for Humanity ReStore is a unique retail outlet where you can purchase quality new and gently used items at excellent prices while helping HFHMC make affordable housing accessible to low-moderate income families so that everyone can have a safe and decent place to live.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Safely operate HFH ReStore truck at all times
- Perform a pre-post trip inspection of ReStore truck at scheduled times
- Ensure ReStore truck is kept clean ensuring no debris is left inside
- Safely load and unload all donated materials onto ReStore truck
- Screen items for product usability ensuring they meet our ReStore guidelines at point of pick up or drop off
- Communicate with ReStore Manager/Assistant Manager regarding incoming donations
- Occasionally supervise volunteers making their experience meaningful
- Maintain an effective working relationship with ReStore staff, volunteers, donors and ReStore customers
- Daily ReStore cleaning, organizing ReStore warehouse, staging furniture on sales floor, and general facilities maintenance
- Keep updated with ReStore policies
- Other duties as assigned by the ReStore Manager/Assistant Manager
- Knowledge and experience in retail sales would be helpful
- Willingness to learn
- Team building and conflict resolution a plus
- Must pass a criminal background check and possess a valid driving license with a clean driving record free of DWI’s, suspensions or reckless driving convictions at all times
- Ability to lift 75 pounds alone and up to 150 with assistance
- Ability to spend majority of the day standing or moving about ReStore climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, lifting, reaching and maneuvering furniture throughout the ReStore
