The Pinellas Director of Corporate Partnerships will serve as the primary liaison between Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay and current and prospective corporate partners in Pinellas County. The Director of Corporate Partnerships is responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships for forming partnerships that include (but are not limited to) School-to-Work partners, corporate volunteer recruiting for other traditional mentoring programs, event sponsorships and other potential revenue opportunities. Other responsibilities include, tracking and evaluating results of recruitment outreach efforts; responsibility to provide weekly, monthly and quarterly progress reports for programs and other assigned duties.
Candidate must be comfortable working directly with corporate leaders, including CEO’s, Board members, and community engagement officers. Presentation skills are necessary to make formal presentations, recruitment drives and meetings.
QUALIFICATIONSCandidate will have a four-year degree or related experience in Partnership Development/Volunteer Recruitment; excellent customer service skills, public speaking, staff coordination skills and ability to work with various teams. Demonstrated technology skills including MS Office, Constant Contact, desktop publishing and ability to design and write electronic communication. Candidate must have reliable transportation to travel to various locations throughout work day. Candidate must be able to work flexible hours to accommodate evening and week-end events and schedules.
