Associate Director, Government Grants Administrator

General Summary
The Associate Director, Government Grants Administrator will be responsible for post-award administration of a multi-disciplinary portfolio of 225 active government grants, at different stages of activity representing $22-25M in annual funding.
This position will be located in Chicago, IL.
Essential Job Functions
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Grants Management System (AMPLIFUND) to track, maintain and organize grant documents and data including contract period, award amount, CFDA number, and reporting requirements
- Serve as a liaison with Area, Regions and Chapter Finance and Program staff to ensure government grant reporting and audit requirements are met
- Review grantee progress and financial reports and identify discrepancies
- Maintain support documentation for time and effort tracking
- Apply process improvement and efficiency methods and standards across chapters
- Support the Single Audit of Federal grants
- Support Government Grants Manager with related to compliance tasks
- Performs other essential tasks and duties required to support the Government Grant Manager, Finance department, and Chapters as needed
Minimum Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred
- Three years direct work experience with post-award management of Federal grants
- Working knowledge of OMB Uniform Guidance
- Skilled user of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)
- Experienced and comfortable working with numbers and in databases
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Strong document management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well independently and with a team
- Excellent time management skills, aptitude for proper task prioritization, and a results-oriented work process
- Ability to handle sensitive matters with tact and discretion
- Professional demeanor, integrity, tact, and good judgment
