World Vision Australia is seeking an influential and strategic leader for the position of Chief, Field Impact to lead its field impact, humanitarian emergency affairs, grant revenue streams and Australia programs, operating within a national, regional and global context.
As part of the Executive Leadership Team, the Chief, Field Impact will work to grow impact, influence and income, ensuring that World Vision’s Australia’s work has significant impact in the lives of the world’s most vulnerable people through quality work in the field, ensuring the deployment of our field footprint for greatest impact and maximum efficiency. It also ensures that WVA is equipped to actively engage our supporters, providing a compelling ‘window to the field’ through communication and evidence of the impact of our work.
Who we're looking for:
- The ideal candidate will possess excellent strategic leadership skills and will demonstrate exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, influencing and negotiating at all levels of the organisation. They will be able to motivate teams to effectively deliver on World Vision’s strategic and operational plan. They will display a high level of commercial acumen, with a deep understanding of the international aid sector, including proven experience in grant revenue streams, humanitarian responses, risk management and quality assurance, as well as other relevant program experience. With a collaborative and inclusive leadership style, they will strongly role model WVA’s values and mission.
In addition, they will possess the following:
- Demonstrated ability to engage and influence globally across multiple stakeholders and entities within WVI and externally.
