Associate Marketing Manager - Emergency Cardiovascular Care

The American Heart (AHA) has an excellent opportunity for an ASSOCIATE MARKETING MANAGER within our Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) group. This position is based at the National Center in Dallas, TX. In this role, you will help ensure the success of ECC healthcare initiatives, with particular focus on the Resuscitation Quality Improvement Program (RQI®), a program for Healthcare providers to improve their resuscitation competency and quality, by assisting in projects that meet marketing objectives and help drive the Program. This position will liaise with account management staff and external science volunteers, as well as other members of the development and marketing alliance.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Writes and edits documents and other communications
  • Facilitates design, layout and printing of marketing assets
  • Experience planning and coordinating healthcare conferences and other business meetings and presentations
  • Management of online web properties
  • Online community engagement experience would be beneficial
  • Attends healthcare conferences and other meetings/events as necessary to help market the RQI Program
  • Work with other AHA communications and marketing teams as necessary
  • Assists in developing presentations
  • Facilitate marketing and educational objectives by managing vendor contracts and SOWs through the AHA system
  • Invoice payment and budget management
Educational Background: 
Bachelor's degree and/or commensurate experience in Marketing, Communications or related field
Skills/Experience: 
  • At least two (2) years of relevant experience
  • Project prioritization and management
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Experience working in a team
  • Proficiency in MS Office products – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge and experience of healthcare environment preferred
  • The ability to travel up to 15% throughout the year
