About the National Service Office
The National Service Office is the central operational engine for two evidence-based programs: Nurse-Family Partnership and Child First. In 2020, what was formally the National Service Office solely for Nurse-Family Partnership joined forces with Child First, a merger empowering two proven models to share complementary expertise, infrastructure and integrated services. The resulting unified entity works to ensure that healthcare, early childhood development, and the mental wellness of the entire family are served in proven ways to achieve tong-term positive outcomes.
Position Description
This position will facilitate the successful implementation of the Child First data systems and quality enhancement practices as the network grows throughout the United States. This individual facilitates effective and efficient solutions for documentation and billing requirements within the Child First electronic health record. This position works closely with the affiliate site leadership to understand the regulatory requirements for Child First program’s services in new communities, with the NSO Information Systems department, and potentially with state leadership.
This position can be located anywhere nationwide.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position reports to Director, National Data and Quality and has no direct reports.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate the Child First program’s replication activities for the Child First Data & Quality department
- Research regulatory requirements in each new region
- Consult with sites on interpretations of regulatory requirements
- Facilitate meetings with NSO and site leadership to arrive at consensus on system specifications
- Seek consensus on what possible adaptations to the electronic systems may be necessary
- Collaborate with other NSO departments for modifications to trainings and materials based on system adaptations
- Complete system configurations in the electronic systems for the new region and sites
- Support the electronic health record system training needs of new sites
- Coordinate implementation of data integration solutions with affiliate sites’ organizational electronic systems
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- Minimum 3 years’ experience implementing or maintaining an Electronic Health Record database. Experience with CareLogic a plus.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience researching and/or incorporating regulatory compliance into programmatic practice, especially with Medicaid and HIPAA..
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Keen analytic, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as a member of multiple teams
- A multi-tasker with the ability to respond to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet rapid deadlines
- Travel up to 20% of time, dependent on current public health conditions and business need.
Salary
- Salary is determined based on experience and skill set. Geographical adjustments will be considered.
- Range: $50,000 - $60,000/year
