Background:
The Prevent CSA Programme envisions a world where child sexual abuse and exploitation are prevented. We promote solutions and accelerate actions to strengthen prevention, and we strive to end impunity and create strong accountability for child sexual abuse where it occurs. We believe that together we can shift the paradigm from silence and neglect to prevention, scaled response, visibility, and accountability.
We work through two sub-programmes: (1) the Solutions Sub-programme that works to promote, scale and accelerate solutions to reduce child sexual abuse; and (2) the Accountability Sub-programme that focuses on holding global institutions accountable for preventing abuse and ending impunity for child sexual abuse.
The programme associate will work with the Accountability Sub-programme. The work of the Accountability team focuses specifically on the following areas:

- Ensuring that in sports, child wellbeing and safety are prioritised over medals and profits. The Accountability Sub-programme supports civil society groups and survivor advocates’ efforts to hold mega sporting organisations, such as FIFA and the Olympic family, accountable for keeping children safe, including promoting stronger safeguarding across the industry, ensuring that host cities respect children’s rights, and building accessible complaint and remedy mechanisms to ensure justice when harm occurs.
- Catalysing a global movement to end impunity for child sexual abuse and exploitation. The sub-programme is currenting investing in several new partnerships to explore how best to promote justice for survivors of child sexual abuse.
