Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) is currently seeking a mission driven professional to join the Partner Engagement team at a Partner Engagement Specialist. The Partner Engagement team is the “face” of the Long-term Volunteer Programs department, serving as the liaison between our program partners and the department.
The Partner Engagement Specialist will support successful implementation and management of HFHI’s long-term volunteer programs at the local level including listening to the voice of the customer to help determine support needs and ensuring the successful administration of programming to help build capacity and increase volunteer engagement for our program partners. Reporting to the Partner Engagement Manager and working with other staff within the department, this role will be responsible for an increase in capacity for program partners to serve families and communities, and to engage volunteers; increased levels of customer satisfaction; and an overall increase in program partner participation and volunteer engagement in HFHI’s long-term volunteer programs yielding results across relevant components of HFHI’s strategic plan.
The position can be located remotely or at our Operational Headquarters in Americus, Georgia. The position requires approximately 20% travel.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
** Represent the Long-term Volunteer Programs department to affiliates and program partners by being knowledgeable of department goals, initiatives, and activities including knowledge of all long-term volunteer programs and resources available
** Provide consultative support to build the capacity of affiliates and program partners and mitigate risk to ensure partners operate with excellence
** Consult with affiliates and program partners to determine the department programming that best meets their needs; coordinating new and returning partner enrollment in programming and educating affiliates and partners on program requirements
** Manage relationships and liaise with assigned affiliates and program partners ensuring the provision of resources and support needed, that programming goals and objectives are achieved and ensuring that the Long-term Volunteer Programs department is able to identify and address the needs of our customers
** Train, coach, and advise affiliates and program partners in their efforts to successfully implement long-term volunteer programming, including online system utilization, member/volunteer development and management and strategic planning
** Determine the level of support needed by partners in order to mitigate risk including coordinating involvement with department leadership, Human Resources, the Risk Prevention & Response Unit and legal teams
** Oversee partner compliance with all programming requirements and processes as set forth by HFHI and Federal and corporate grants administered by HFHI and the Long-term Volunteer Programs department (i.e. State Farm, AmeriCorps, etc.)
** Perform required program partner compliance reviews including but not limited to site visitations, site reporting, and covenant reviews
** Partner with HFHI Human Resources/Talent Acquisition staff to manage AmeriCorps member issues, enroll and exit members and advise hosting affiliates and SSOs on recruitment, retention, and risk management strategies relating to member management
** Support and help coordinate specific aspects of large-scale Long-term Volunteer Programs department events, initiatives and projects such as the National Service Leadership Conference (NSLC), Young Leaders Conference/Retreat (YLC or YLR), AmeriCorps Host Site training, Build-a-Thon (BAT), National Days of Service, and other activities as assigned

** Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
** 1 to 2 years experience in Volunteer Coordinator or Program Management
** Experience in programmatic compliance and reporting
** Excellent oral and written communication skills
** Excellent organizational, planning and multi-tasking skills
