Habitat for Humanity International is currently seeking to add to our ReStore team with energetic & service oriented professionals to serve as a ReStore Truck Driver at one of our ReStores in Metro Atlanta. The ReStore Driver will continually refresh the ReStore’s inventory by picking up donated merchandise throughout Metro Atlanta as well as serve as an ambassador for Habitat and the ReStore by supporting our efforts to maintain a good relationship with all donors.
Habitat for Humanity ReStore is a unique retail outlet where you can purchase quality new and gently used items at excellent prices while helping Habitat for Humanity eliminate poverty housing in our community.
Revenue generated by the ReStore provides the local Habitat for Humanity program & Habitat for Humanity International with much needed funds to assist in buidling homes and hope for families in our community and around the world. It also helps to keep thousands of tons of unwanted merchandise out of our landfills.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
** Drive the truck to pick up donated products
** Help to load items at the donor’s location in a safe and courteous fashion
** Assist in unloading truck at ReStore, following back dock guidelines
** Help clean and move priced items to the showroom floor, as needed
** Assist in other areas within the ReStore, as requested
** Assist in keeping trucks well maintained and clean & perform minor repairs, as needed
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
** High School Diploma or GED
** 1-2 years' experience in retail and/or service and/or driving/moving
** Valid driver's license and good driving record for pre-employment and on-going employment
** Ability to meet all state mandated requirements in order to successfully obtain & maintain a Georgia Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Card, including passing a physical exam by a DOT certified physician, for pre-employment and for on-going employment
** Clear Motor Vehicle Record for pre-employment and on-going employment
** Familiarity with towns, communities and areas in and around Metro Atlanta
** Ability to consistently lift and move 50-75 pounds
** Reasonable familiarity with building materials
** Excellent communication skills & the ability to relate well to a diverse group of individuals
