Semones YMCA in Dallas is taking applications for an Associate Executive Director.
The YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas is looking for a value-driven individual to be the next Associate Executive Director at the Semones Family YMCA. The Dallas YMCA has a track record for exceptional program innovation, fundraising and leadership development. We need an individual who is strong in coaching, mentoring, and developing staff, while focusing on excellence and quality.
The Associate Executive Director will provide leadership in the critical success areas of the Semones YMCA with a budget of $7M. They area ccountable for direct leadership of the day to day operations of the branch.He/She will be responsible for supervision of all membership, aquatics, wellness, outreach, family programs, camping, sports, teens, and facilities. They will mentor, coach,and direct the performance of 6 professional and/or full time staff as well as indirectly supervise 250+ full and/or part timestaff. They will be responsible for $620,000 leadership in the Annual Campaign. Responsible for the effective use of resources in improving operations. Attend and participate in monthly Board Meetings, Membership Experience Committee, Outreach Committee, and Board Retreat. Assist program staff in developing and interpreting their annual budgets. We are looking for an outgoing person to be visible, conscious and aware of member's needs and generate solutions to problems and conflicts. The Associate Executive Director reports to the Executive Director.
- The incumbent must have the ability to establish and maintain harmonious relationships by promoting and demonstrating Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility with staff, lay leaders, YMCA members and program participants, and the general public.
- Able to attract program participants through active participation in branch activities and knowledge of other community services.
- Managerial & Consultative Skills:
- The incumbent must have knowledge and understanding of management skills in administration of the YMCA operations relating to programs, personnel, membership, fundraising, financial management, and quality control.
- Must also have ability and knowledge in facility operations, staff development and coaching, program delivery, risk management, volunteer development and committee work.
- This includes the ability to manage and delegate appropriate responsibilities to the assigned supervisors and coordinators.
Salary: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00
