The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation located in Chicago, IL is seeking a talented Marketing and Communications Specialist to join their development team. Core competencies include strong skills in the following areas: marketing, communications, social media and administrative experience. This position will not be responsible for event coordination.
Responsibilities include development of collateral materials, chapter newsletter, press releases, PSA's, email campaigns for all events and other materials. Candidate will support internal and external communication to help grow the chapter revenue and cultivation process and collaborate closely with the Executive Director and key development staff to ensure progress on key deliverables.
The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of work experience; and 2-4-year degree or equivalent education/experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and Publisher and/or Illustrator. Candidate will facilitate project coordination, provide writing support (e.g. strong grammar skills, proofreads materials, conduct background research, and provide administrative support as needed). Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and stay highly organized to ensure timely and accurate work.
