Mission: 

YCC Family Crisis Center is to “save and change lives” by working to prevent and alleviate domestic violence, sexual assault and homelessness by providing safety, services and resources. Our programs support and enhance the quality of life for all individuals and families by providing advocacy and education, to find hope on the road to self-sufficiency.

Programs: 

Domestic Violence Victim Assistance Center

  • 24-Hour Crisis Intervention/ Shelter

  • Domestic Violence Victim Advocate Program (DVVAP)
  • 24-Hour Advocate Support, Court and Protective Orders, Victim Support

Classes and Support Groups
Spanish DV Class - Monday 5:00-6:30 pm
English DV Class -  Monday 6:00-7:30 pm

Men’s Victim DV Class -Thursday 11:30-12:30 pm
English DV Class - Thursday 1:00-2:30 pm

Rape/Sexual Assault Recovery Program

Crisis intervention for youth and adults.
Follow-up case management for survivors of sexual assault.
Support groups for adult survivors

  • Rape Recovery Support Group Wednesday 5:00-6:30 pm
  • All RRP Services are provided in English and Spanish.

Medical Services

YCC clients are referred to Midtown Community Health Services for their medical needs

Housing Assistance

TANF Rapid Rehousing is short term rental assistance for low income families. Eligibility requirements are:

  • Experiencing a housing crisis
  • Have custody of children under the age of 18
  • Currently working or have good work history within the last year.
  • Income that is at or below the 200% poverty line

Parenting Classes

Help with raising responsible children by curbing misbehavior. There is no fee for 8 weeks of classes, free child care during class and the workbook to take home.

  • English Love & Logic Tuesday 6:00 –7:00 pm Thursday 10:00 - 11:00 am

Children’s Self-Esteem & Alternatives to Violence Group
Counseling for children exposed to violence.

  • Helping Hands for Children age 3-6 Tuesday 6:00-7:30 pm
  • Alternative to Violence for ages 7-12 Tuesday 6:00-7:30 pm

Child Care

Daily self-esteem-based curriculum including art, math, language reasoning, science, nature, and diversity.

  • Children 6 weeks to 12 years
  • Monday through Friday 6:00am – 6:30pm
  • Open to the community

Rape Education and Prevention

  • Family Enrichment Center
  • Presentations on rape, dating violence, and sexual harassment for schools, civic and church groups .
  • Given upon request.

Thrift Store

Monday-Friday 10:00 am - 4:00 pm Closed Saturday and Sunday.

Senior LifeCare Program Provide critical minor home repairs for low income senior, disabled homeowners in Weber County. No charge.

Thursday Bar Night (Legal Advice)

Free legal advice provided by volunteer attorneys. Open to community by appointment ONLY. 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month. Instructions for Bar Night:

  • Call at 8:00 am on the morning of Bar Night to make an appointment
  • First 10 people will receive appointments to see the lawyers.
  • Sign up opens at 4:00 pm for those that have an appointment. You will be seen on first come first serve basis.

Open Gym

Monday & Wednesday 6:00-7:30 pm Activities for children 5-11 yrs. of age. Must have parental permission
