To provide guidance to market and hospital staff in implementing the componets of NICU Family Support to ensure the quality of the program and the family and NICU staff experience. Implement and mange the March of Dimes NICXU Family Support hospital-managed initiative, including program quality development, marketing, training, and site credentialing. Support hospital and market staff in sites nationwide.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Develop Relationships: Cultivates partnerships and ensures effective collaboration with NICU Family Support partner hospitals. Serves as the primary contact and relationship manager for NFS site implementation partners, including management of hospital partner and other funding to support site implementation.
  • Develop Strategies and Provide Technical Assistance: Develops strategies with and provides technical assistance to hospital-managed NFS sites through telephone and videoconference support, on-site training or site visits, implementation tools, and problem-solving with the NICU Family Support Program Coordinator and NICU leadership at each assigned site.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure that Memoranda of Understanding, contracts, BAA, HIPAA guidelines, privacy rules and other issues of program liability are followed by NICU Family Support sites, through oversight, site visits, and telephone/videoconference contact.
  • Progress Reporting: Ensures that designated data is collected and submitted by partner implementation sites using tools to monitor progress. Documents program activities and provides regular reports for external funders, and provides accountability for community investments.
Educational Background: 
Four year college degree or equivalent experience
Skills/Experience: 
  • 2-4 years experience
  • Understanding of NICU setting and experience
  • Ability to organize and monitor multiple levels of details related to multiple customers
  • Competency as a trainer of adult learners—excellent presentation skills, interpersonal skills, ability to facilitate groups of adult trainees
  • High-level organizational skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and customers simultaneously
