This role will provide direct recruitment inputs to the NBD proposal teams and associated management units in support of PSI’s response to solicitations and NBD initiatives. The role will also provide strategic inputs for PSI’s Human Resources department.
Areas of Responsibility:
Proposal recruitment
- Work directly with NBD and proposal development teams to establish priority bid efforts providing delivery of key staff and high-level technical personnel across active and eminent bids
- Identify, source, screen, and interviewing of candidates. Compile short-lists and coordinate the scheduling of interviews with proposal teams and relevant leaders.
- Document screening of candidates
- Provide strategic positioning by Identifying and securing highly competitive, target candidates through database searches, advertising and personal networks
- Initiate and close negotiations regarding compensation within the parameters of PSI policies
- Ensure vetting of all proposed PSI candidates, including reference checks
- Collaborate with PSI/NBD staff to understand and prioritize existing and upcoming bid activity and develop and execute pro-active outreach to ensure competitiveness/responsiveness to solicitations
- Assist with the development of strategic pipelines of COP candidates, high-level technical staff and assist with building roster of external NBD consultants for surge support
- Fully track on an ongoing basis each recruitment effort in the recruitment database and document all activity for assigned recruitment initiatives in a separate matrix.
- Report regularly on all recruitment activities
PSI Corporate IS and Domestic recruitment
- Work directly with PSI hiring teams to establish priority profile requirements to ensure delivery of mid and high-level key and technical personnel across the organization
- Identify, source, screen, and interviewing of candidates for active positions. Compile short-lists and coordinate the scheduling of interviews with hiring teams and other staff as appropriate.
- Provide strategic positioning by Identifying and securing highly competitive, target candidates through database searches, advertising and personal networks
- Initiate and close negotiations regarding compensation within the parameters of PSI policies
- Ensure vetting of all selected PSI candidates
- Contribute to the development of strategic pipelines relevant candidates
- Fully track each recruitment effort in the recruitment database and document all activity for assigned recruitment initiatives
- Report regularly on all recruitment activities
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
Skills/Experience:
- At least 5+ years of recruitment experience with an in-house recruiting team, and executive level, international and proposals recruitment, preferably in the area of public health and/or international development
- Strong interpersonal networking skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, self-directed, results-oriented environment
