Fall Human Resources Intern or Fellow

This intern or fellow will support Agency-wide Talent Management, Employee Engagement and Learning & Development initiatives.

 The primary focus of work will be centered around engagement of our remote workers and on tracking employee participation in our leadership development programs.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Working closely with the team, implement a strategy to enhance the remote worker employee experience across the US and overseas based on results from remote worker experience survey. Conduct research on best practices and develop a toolkit and other resources for remote workers, managers and teams to help foster a more inclusive, engaging experience.
  • Develop a way to best update and track past attendance in our Agency Leadership Development programs in our Learning Management System. Create and implement a process to maintain these records going forward so the Agency can accurately address the leadership development needs of our workers.
  • Assist with other Talent Management, Employee Engagement, and Learning & Development projects as needed
Educational Background: 
Must be an actively enrolled undergraduate, graduate or post graduate student or have graduated within 6 months of start date
Skills/Experience: 
  • Strong written skills, solid interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team
  • Human Resources or Industrial/Organizational Psychology course work a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Cornerstone or other Learning Management Systems a plus
  • Currently eligible to work in the U.S.
