The Executive Recruiter partners with country-office leadership teams to deliver requisite talent for the division(s) staffing needs. She/he will serve as the primary recruiting consultant for the country offices’ executive team and will oversee the delivery of effective recruiting support. This will primarily focus on the India Country Office and will include the China Country Office and limited support for our three offices in Africa. The Executive Recruiter will personally manage executive/leadership, senior level and highly specialized roles for multiple program strategies within the India Country Office and our China Country Office with support This includes developing and cultivating relationships with a diverse network of prospective talent for the organization, attracting and assessing senior level candidates, and overseeing the offer/negotiation process with finalists. The role also contributes to the overall effectiveness of the foundation’s talent acquisition strategies, programs and tools including onboarding new hires.

- Consults with Country Office executive team(s) as their primary thought partner on recruiting-related issues for their division. This is done in part by providing talent insights, competitive intelligence, and analysis of the recruiting landscape.
- Sources, attracts, assesses and hires talent to fill specialized and senior-level vacancies, utilizing established recruiting tools and workflows. Primary focus includes Director, Deputy Director, Senior Program and Program Officer roles. Recruitments typically require planful and targeted research, outreach by email and phone, networking, and relationship development in ways that always reflect positively on the foundation.
- Provides general direction to researchers, sourcing recruiters and external search partners for recruitments she/he is managing and which receive supplement resourcing support.
- Identifies opportunities for forward-looking/proactive research and candidate development for offices supported.
- Consistently collaborates with divisional HRBP and other HR colleagues to ensure quality and efficient recruiting outcomes in service of the foundation and client division(s).

Education and Experience
- 15+ years of professional recruiting experience and/or passive candidate research and engagement which includes conducting and managing multiple complex searches in partnerships with hiring managers and other stakeholders.
- 2+ years of direct experience in executive recruitment (C level searches), and across a range of fields, ideally including global health, global development, or related fields of technical or scientific specialization.
- Prior experience working in a corporate environment and/or executive search firm required, with a strong preference for individuals with prior experience successfully conducting searches in China and Africa as well as India.
