March of Dimes, the leading nonprofit organization for pregnancy and baby health, is seeking a highly energetic Email Marketing Coordinator to develop, optimize and execute successful email marketing initiatives. This is a temporary position (February – May) that will work on apart-time basis (estimated 30 hours a week) to assist with registration, fundraising, and retention efforts to support over 300 March for Babies events. The Email Marketing Coordinator will report directly to the Email Marketing Manager.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter who demonstrates a high degree of proactivity, works well in a collaborative environment, and is comfortable with HTML/CSS.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Manage the end-to-end execution of daily email deployments including intake management, coding, approvals, quality assurance, testing, scheduling, and analysis
  • Work with internal March of Dimes staff including local market, CRM, direct response, creative, marketing and brand teams to meet campaign objectives and timelines
  • Assist in keeping email calendar up to date, coordinating with the Email Marketing Manager to ensure local initiatives and national campaigns are strategically timed for maximize impact
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on email performance reports and best practices
  • Support HTML email template development and troubleshooting as needed
  • Support other operations needs including list processing, data matching, and CRM import requests as needed.
Educational Background: 
Bachelor degree in Marketing, Communications or related field preferred
Skills/Experience: 
  • Interest and prior experience with email marketing required
  • Experience working within an Email Service Provider (ESP),specifically Agility Epsilon Harmony, a plus
  • Non-profit industry experience a plus
  • Comfortable with technology, strong demonstrated HTML/CSS skills
  • Highly organized, detail oriented and methodical
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible, adaptable and open-minded
  • Ability to thrive in an active and engaged workplace environment using multiple communications channels including email, Facebook Workplace and Zoom
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively toward a common goal.
