The Jackson Symphony Orchestra has an immediate opening for Director of Marketing & Public Relations. This is a part-time position working 3 days/week plus all symphony concerts. The successful candidate will have excellent sales & customer service skills, be self-motivated, organized and computer savvy.
The Jackson Symphony Orchestra has an immediate opening for Director of Marketing & Public Relations. This is a part-time position working 3 days/week plus all symphony concerts. The successful candidate will have excellent sales & customer service skills, be self-motivated, organized and computer savvy.
Currently, The Jackson Symphony Orchestra has a 3 concert Pops series, 3 concert Classical series, and a 4 concert Chamber series. In addition, our Youth Orchestra has three performances each year. The successful candidate will be promoting all of these concerts in print, radio and social media. This individual will also maintain annual partnerships with our media partners. In addition, the successful candidate will also be responsible for working with our Patron Services & Development Manager and associated board committee on audience development regarding annual subscription, single ticket sales, and group sales. The successful candidate will also oversee the development of all print items and website content for the organization.
Strong computer skills are required. The successful candidate will possess a strong work ethic, be willing to support the mission and business of The Jackson Symphony, have a hospitable spirit and be able to maintain professionalism under challenging circumstances. Must be available to work all concerts of The Jackson Symphony.
Salary level is dependent upon experience of the individual.
