The American Heart Association has a great opportunity for a Project Coordinator! The AHA MENA PROJECT COORDINATOR will assist the Middle East North Africa (MENA) Regional Director in the day-to-day operations of the American Heart Association at the Dubai Office. Main responsibilities include office and logistics management, customer support, communication with other American Heart Association offices and MENA international training centers, and organization of meetings and conferences.
- Supports all the MENA International Training Centers from the Dubai office.
- Supports processes relating to contracts, insurance, site reviews, and customer contacts.
- Serves as the point of contact for MENA ITCs in regards to general customer service inquiries, including but not limited to, contracts, training materials, training program guidelines, ECC program in general and AHA activities in the region.
- Maintains filing/organization system for ITC related documentation.
- Provides technical and administrative support to MENA Territory Support Manager , and other MENA staff, ECC volunteers and the general public on all ECC related issues.
- Coordinates responses to customers within area of described responsibility.
- Manages AHA Portals (CRM, CPRverify, OKM, E1, IN, etc. ) and provide technical support to the ECC in the MENA Region.
- Responsible for communicating higher level issue to MENA Territory Support Manager as reported by Training Network.
- Maintains and upgrades personal knowledge of Emergency Cardiovascular Care, ECC product content, availability and development on an ongoing basis.
- Coordinates bulk mailings of materials for conferences and meetings. Order and maintain standard products, marketing materials and promotional items for conferences and meetings.
- Manages the materials ordering process for staff in assigned territory. Assures the adequate supply of sales/promotional materials at the Dubai office
- Works with ECC Program Staff to facilitate changes in programs based on guidelines established by ECC Science and Education Committees relating to program guidelines, customer service, risk management and quality assurance.
- Assists staff in implementing national and local marketing strategies within territory.
- Implements ECC communication protocols and maintains integrity of the communications system.
- Manage special projects as assigned by MENA Territory Support Manager and ECC National Center Staff.
- Staff will carry out these duties and be stationed at the Dubai office 95% of the time
- 5+ years of experience in a similar position.
- Must be fluent in English and Arabic. French language is also preferred. Excellent communication (oral and written).
- Ability to travel approximately 5% of the time, including nights and weekends when necessary.
- Extensive knowledge of AHA National Emergency Cardiovascular Care Programs, policies and procedures, AHA training courses, and ECC products as well as knowledge of the AHA
- Computer experience (MS Products particularly Excel must be at a profession level, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Four (4) years college degree from accredited University.
- Computer Science or Information Technology degree is preferred.
