The Human Resources (HR) Shared Services Manager is responsible for managing and leading the centralized HR Shared Services team and function and support a wide range of HR projects and initiatives related to HR operations for the entire organization. Deliver and manage the HR service directly and through a team of HR professionals, procedures, and processes that are considered value added, measurable, directly tied to strategic business objectives.
Contribute to the strategic direction of Human Resources through active participation on the HR operations team; lead and participate on HR projects in support of the organization’s strategy.
Compensation & Performance Management
- Support and provide assistance for all performance based programs including annual review process, merit/incentive based programs and employee service awards/recognition.
Employee/System Administration
- Oversee employment verifications, unemployment questionnaires and billing.
- Support HRIS with system administration of UltiPro HR/Payroll/Benefits portal in areas including time management and employment changes.
Health & Wellness
- Administer and centralize all leave administration inclusive of all Leave of Absences.
- Provide centralized support for all benefit enrollments including annual open enrollment, roll out and/or enhancement of new benefit plan or program.
- Develop metrics and reporting for measuring program effectiveness.
- Oversee COBRA administration and payments.
Reporting & Analytics
- Provide direct support and leadership of HR metrics, reporting, and advanced and predictive analytics.
- Supports the Human Resource partners to identify business challenges and use data analysis to help influence changes to the operations, process or programs.
- Communicates findings to senior management via formal presentations, standard management reporting artifacts on periodic/quarterly/annual basis.
Talent Programs
- Provide centralized support for all recruitment and onboarding organization wide from pre-employment screening, background checks, automating reference checking, I-9 and supporting the welcome and new hire orientation program.
- Provide operational/administrative support for learning and development initiatives at various levels and stages.
- 3 to 5 years direct HR experience with particular focus and emphasis in benefit administration, compensation or HRIS.
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, benefit administration and management, recruiting, payroll, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity programs, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws
- Ability to manage tasks with competing priorities and deadlines, independently determining order of priority and self-initiating other value-added task.
- Comprehensive experience developing relationships at all levels of an organization to communicate HR policies and strategies.
- Proven track record of developing and sustaining positive and constructive workforce relationships.
- Strong business acumen with demonstrated experience providing consultative guidance to business leaders related to HR policies and practices.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to a diverse audience.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with proven critical thinking skills
