The American Heart Association (AHA) has an excellent opportunity for a Creative Manager at our office located in Dallas, TX.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing creative brief fulfillment for product development within the Integrated Programs and Asset Development (IPAD) team. Responsible for executing on creative briefs, either internally or externally, to meet the needs of integrated program development, digital asset development, digital marketing, social media, events and promotions, and email marketing. Responsible for determining modifications to creative briefs and media stewardship based on data-driven outcomes.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Manages concept and oversees development of artwork or other visual assets for assigned product or marketing campaign. Executes fulfillment of creative briefs through inclusion and review with Master Brand and/or Agency to execution in print products, event collateral, digital assets or direct marketing. Ensures creative briefs are clear and align with Product/Asset, Marketing Campaign, Communications and Portfolio strategy; with Sponsor’s deliverables in mind; when applicable.
- Drives design philosophy and provides thought leadership on assigned product/asset or marketing plan to usage of new creative tools and techniques. Art directs and coordinates design, photography and illustration through Agency of Record or AHA’s Design Studio.
- Manages creative resources to balance and prioritize workflow, ensuring that assignments are delivered on schedule and within budget. Facilitates creative reviews with necessary stakeholders. Performs final reviews to ensure creative, media, and/or social media activities deliver on strategy, in brand voice, look and feel.
- Evaluates and guides enhancements to product/asset or visual design based on market analytics, research and trends. Facilitates feedback with Marketing or Product Development Planning teams.
- Provides creative asset inventory management, evaluates system and leads changes to ensure appropriate protection and improvements. Provides recommendations for storing department’s creative assets on SharePoint site and enhances searchability.
- Considers and provides solutions to creative or design challenges. Reviews all product designs to ensure compliance with AHA branding strategy and sponsor requirements.
- Assimilates IPAD creative schedule with department priorities and in consultation with Master Brand/Agency for creative management and planning needs on print products, event collateral, digital assets or direct marketing.
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or related equivalent work experience or equivalent work experience
Skills/Experience:
- Minimum five years of experience in the related field
- Creative design, digital graphics or creative services management experience as member of marketing communications or product development team
- Experience in marketing (including digital), PR, promotions, communications, social media, or combination
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and oral) with an ability to adapt communication style to different audiences
