Work directly on implementing and scaling the Starbucks FoodShare food donation program in partnership with member food banks and Starbucks. Provide robust reporting and program analytics to assist Starbucks and Feeding America in identifying opportunities for increased donations and trends.
Starbucks is leading a national effort to provide nourishing ready-to-eat meals to people in need through a unique strategic partnership with Feeding America®. FoodShare donations will be picked up in refrigerated vehicles from Starbucks stores seven days a week, year-round. At each location, drivers will check all items to ensure food safety and transport the food for distribution. Food items include Bistro Boxes, breakfast sandwiches, paninis, salads, yogurts and high-quality baked goods. Starbucks intends to scale this program and rescue 100 percent of its food available for donation from participating company-operated U.S. stores.
