Employees in this position are responsible for day-to-day type retail related responsibilities and Operations of the Hall County ReStore. The intended purpose of the restore is to sell a wide selection of new, blemished, and useable quality building materials in the Hall County Area at extremely low prices (50-75% below retail) through the operation of a retail warehouse owned and operated by the Affiliate. Proceeds benefit the construction of houses in the area served by HFH Hall County.

Educational Background: 
High school diploma required.
Skills/Experience: 
  • Knowledge of retail operations and or experience working in a retail building supply environment. Financial, analytical and organizational skills,
  • Communication Skills, Marketing, Sales, Knowledge of and ability to follow best practice and procedures related to retail and ability to use current computer applications and retail technologies.
  • Interactions: The persons in this position will interact with the general public and all levels of management. It will be necessary for this position to communicate effectively via various modes of communication (face-to-face, phone, email, fax, etc.)
  • Organizational level(s) impacted: Impact is at store level only. This position works under the direct supervision of the ReStore Director, who reports to the Executive Director and Affiliate Board of Directors,.
  • Budget/Financial Level/Stewardship and Financial Discretion: Responsible for adhering to a pre-establish ReStore budget. Stewardship is limited to pre-defined budget. No discretionary authority in area of budget Working Conditions: Individual will be working in a warehouse. Subject to heat, cold and dust. Light and Heavy lifting required.
  • Planning & Leadership Impact: The position provides support and leadership (non-management) to ReStore volunteers.
  • Experience required: Three Years
  • Education/ Job requirements: Experience in retail, marketing, sales, must be able to lift 50 lbs
