Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) is currently seeking a talented professional for the role of a Senior Specialist - Cars for Homes. The specialist will work closely with Habitat affiliates, HFHI departments and Cars for Homes (CFH) vendors to maximize the use of communication platforms, marketing tools, and collected data to enable affiliates to excel in generating revenue through donations of vehicles. This position will be based in HFHI's administrative headquarters in Atlanta, GA.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Supporting affiliate communications across all relevant platforms and help pilot new methods, i.e., MyHabitat, emails, social media, surveys.
  • Building and maintain successful working relationships with affiliates by providing program information, ordering marketing materials and responding to affiliate inquiries. 
  • Organizing workshops and online trainings for affiliates; participate as appropriate and assigned. 
  • Build and maintain successful working relationships with CFH vendors, optimize shared data, access data to support communications with affiliates and donors. 
  • Managing donor inquiries, provide requested information, and resolve issues as they arise. 
  • Maintaining HFHI affiliate service area information in vendor database and CFH data base of affiliate contacts; utilize both to review monthly donation spreadsheets for accuracy. 
  • Preparing program invoices for HFHI finance and forward for approval and payment; track each transaction on CFH fiscal year expense log. 
  • Collaborating with finance and IT to optimize methods for sharing monthly and quarterly financial data with affiliates. (new project; prepare quarterly spreadsheets for distribution to affiliates.
Educational Background: 
Bachelor's Degree
Skills/Experience: 
  • 3-5 years of related experience.
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Excel, Microsoft products, including Outlook.
  • Experience in managing and maintaining databases.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms.
  • Knowledge of search engine optimization.
  • Ability to work independently, with attention to detail.

Preferred:

  • Previous work experience with Habitat.

Beneficial but not required:

  • Knowledge of vehicle donation industry.
