The HR Coordinator provides assistance with and facilitates the human resource processes at all business locations. This position will serve as a point of contact for all employees.  

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Recruitment
    • Prepares weekly reports of job requests for multi-layered approval process, maintaining accuracy for future reference.
    • Manages the organization-wide pre-employment credit and criminal check process for all employees, including: being the core system administrator, monitoring results, submitting requests, reviewing and interpreting reports, requesting explanations on derogatory information and consulting with HR Directors as needed.
    • Conducts audits on job postings and I-9s and recommends corrective action.
  • Onboarding
    • Assists manager and recruiters with paperwork needed for new hires.
    • Completes Forms I-9, processes all new hires through the E-Verify system and maintains accurate files and compliance with Federal laws, being the organization’s administrator. Researches and advises on law changes pertaining to the I-9 and E-Verify.
    • Prepares employee files and maintains accurate record of all paperwork and changes regarding the employee.
  • Learning and Development
    • Assists in the implementation of new processes.
    • Assists in orienting new hires through training.
  • Benefits
    • Assists in all unemployment reporting.
    • Prepares payment request and allocation for approval and invoicing processing.
  • Administration
    • Distributes monthly recognition of service awards for all employees.
    • Maintains March of Dimes website with current postings.
    • Conducts employment verifications for current and former employees, being the organization’s point of conduct for E-Fax services.
    • Prepares payment request and allocation for all HR invoicing, files and performs other clerical functions.
  • Payroll
    • Provides system support for all employment related transactions, including new hires, transfers, compensation changes, location changes and terminations. 
  • Provides ancillary support by completing miscellaneous tasks to support the entire HR function.
Educational Background: 
Associate or Technical degree
Skills/Experience: 
  • 2-4 years experience
  • Directly related experience
  • Progresively responsible experience
  • Project management experience
