Planned Parenthood of New York City is seeking a Compliance Director to join our team. The Compliance Director is based at our Administrative Offices located at 26 Bleecker Street, New York, NY 10012.
Under the primary supervision of the Compliance Officer at Planned Parenthood of New York City (PPNYC) and working closely with the Compliance Officer at Planned Parenthood of Nassau County (PPNC) provides expertise and leadership to all phases of programs to ensure continuous compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies, internal risk and quality management (RQM) objectives, and Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) standards for accreditation.
- Responsible for the implementation and monitoring of policies and procedures governing the Compliance and RQM programs
- Works with senior leadership on the planning, development and implementation collaborations with Planned Parenthood of Nassau County (PPNC) in the area of compliance
- Manages the day-to-day operation of the programs
- Reviews and updates the Code of Conduct and related policies
- Oversees the Compliance Hotline
- Receives, evaluates and investigates compliance-related complaints, concerns and problems
- Ensures proper reporting of violations as appropriate/required
- Regularly evaluates the effectiveness and strength of the programs
- Three to five years of experience in the field of healthcare compliance
- Certification as a professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), preferred
- Coding experience and/or clinical operations experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- A demonstrated track record of independent and successful project management
- Discretion, good judgment, initiative and an openness to evolving responsibilities
- Willingness to travel as needed to health centers in all five boroughs of New York City and Nassau County
