The American Heart Association (AHA) has an excellent opportunity for a Central Georgia Regional Fundraising Director to work from home and report to the Atlanta Office several times a year for meetings.Primary purpose will be to cultivate and solicit corporate sponsorships and individual donations for two annual events: Heart Walk & Go Red for Women Luncheon. Territory will cover Central GA area
- Recruitment of volunteer executive leadership committees
- Interaction with high level decision makers & community leaders
- Setting and meeting aggressive fund-raising goals
- Building new client relationships
- Securing corporate sponsorships and individual donations
- Daily travel throughout the territory
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in volunteer management and/or managing community programs; demonstrated history of building and maintaining customer relationships; excellent presentation skills, including development of presentations and understanding of technology; skilled in written and oral communications and computer experience with proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Frequent travel required, including some overnights.
