We are looking for an enthusiastic team player to join us in making a difference in the communities and the lives of children we serve. The CORE/RYS therapist will provide psychotherapeutic services to assist clients in improving functioning, obtaining symptom relief, and preventing psychosocial dysfunction. They will work to identify issues and conditions and assess each case while selecting a course of action from many alternatives. The therapist work has an effect on the well-being of clients and their families, and the accomplishment of program objectives impacts the general safety and productivity of the community.
- The therapist will offer individual, family and parent counseling, as well as lead or co-lead therapy and psycho-educational groups (child and adult groups). Will attend school and parent meetings (e.g: EMT/ARD/suspension, etc.), complete necessary paperwork for billing, attend trainings, retreats, and Y events as required.
- Under the supervision of a board-approved clinical supervisor, the employee will provide crisis intervention therapy and direct psychotherapy and clinical counseling, conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, mental status and diagnostic evaluation with Licensed Clinical Therapist present and recommends treatment plan and placement, and develop therapeutic case management services to clients who have varying presenting problems.
- Will have knowledge of philosophies, practices, policies and outcomes of the most generally accepted scientifically supported models of treatment, recovery, prevention and continuing care for psychological, emotional, mental, addictions and/or substance abuse disorders and conditions.
- Must have knowledge of established diagnostic criteria, treatment modalities and placement criteria within the continuum of care for psychological, emotional, mental, addictions and/or substance abuse disorders and conditions.
- Our candidate will have the ability to learn to work cooperatively, assess and adapt to situations based upon clientele, and communicate clearly and effectively. English/Spanish bilingual is preferred.
Salary: $44,800.00 - $52,900.00
