One of the top strategic initiatives for the organization is to implement a Wish and Volunteer Center utilizing Salesforce. We are looking for an experienced Salesforce professional to assist with the implementation, and ongoing support for this new solution.
As the Manager of Salesforce you will be responsible for the ongoing support and research of existing Salesforce environment, partnering with 3rd parties for development and testing, as well as providing basic administration of the organization’s Salesforce environment. Knowledge of Salesforce technology is paramount, but a key to success will be the ability to listen and to build relationships with a diverse set of business partners and team members.
This position is jointly responsible for maintaining complex configurations of the Salesforce platform. The role will also take responsibility for creating design specifications, testing, and preparing technical documentation. You will maintain relationships with customers and cross functional teams at the most professional and effective levels to ensure that the application functionality aligns with organization needs while addressing end user requests. The position requires the ability to function successfully in both team and independent work environments to support the National Office and 62 chapters across the United States.
- Administration and oversite of Salesforce and Community environments.
- Support the project life cycle including requirements, research, testing and deployment of the Salesforce enhancements for the organization.
- Identify and resolve technical challenges, and communicate with team and business resources across the organization.
- Participate in discovery workshops, solution presentations, and prototype demonstrations.
- Support and assist with implementation of integration with other applications
- Build and demonstrate prototypes in Salesforce.
- Participate in product road mapping
- Completed a full-lifecycle Salesforce implementation, having played a role as a key stakeholder.
- Strong analytical and product management skills with an understanding of how to interpret customer business needs, translate those needs into operational requirements, and then research and recommend solutions.
- Progressive experience in technology implementation with Salesforce or similar CRM.
- Experience implementing or administering Salesforce environments including identifying business requirements, collecting use cases/user stories, assisting with solution development, testing, training and implementation support.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
- Interpersonal communication skills are a must, as well as the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Minimum of two years demonstrated experience as a Salesforce.com super user or junior administrator.
- Salesforce Admin Certification preferred.
