YMCA of Metropolitan Washington is looking for a pro-active and proficient Administrative Assistant for its Association Services Office located in Washington, DC. This position supports the Finance and Properties & Facilities Departments, and is responsible for a high level of administrative and secretarial services.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • The Administrative Assistant will perform confidential work, including the coordination and preparation of documents, reviewing mail and drafting responses.
  • Will keep the appointment calendar for management staff, prepare agendas and exhibits for and keep records of meetings, and transcribe materials for meeting participants.
  • The Administrative Assistant responds to telephone inquiries and complaints from members and tries to resolve any pending issues.
  • Serves as liaison to building management for issues.
  • Will maintain all files and records for the office, including tool and equipment inventory, monitoring maintenance related expenses, and processing invoices.
Compensation/Benefits:

Salary: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00
