The Strategic Partnerships Senior Coordinator will support the day-to-day management of the grants and partnerships supporting Save the Children’s Hurricane Maria relief and recovery efforts. The position will report to the Manager, Strategic Partnerships..

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Assists with the identification, tracking, monitoring, and documentation for a portfolio of active projects and assists in the ongoing development of systems and procedures to ensure the effective flow of resources to grant recipients and other partners.
  • Ensure programs are successfully implemented.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders, particularly technical and finance staff.
  • The Strategic Partnerships Senior Coordinator supports the Partnership Manager to ensure the health of the caseload of awards. Identify, document and report the Partnership Manager any potential issues with caseload.
  • Assist with award reporting and close-out of grants.
  • Support the development of and manage sub-award agreements to partners, including wire transfers and ad hoc support.
  • Provide support in all other responsibilities delegated by the Partnerships Manager as they arise including all documentation and communication with internal and external parties.
Educational Background: 
High School or Technical/Vocational Degree
Skills/Experience: 
  • 3-4 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
  • Excellent English and Spanish communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent personal organizational skills, including time management, and ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Excellent worksheet management (Excel, and similar tools) for reporting and tracking of caseload
  • Resource management, training, capacity building, coaching, and mentoring skills
  • Willingness to work and travel to challenging and remote environment and requirements
  • Ability to meet government and federal agencies requirements for working with children
  • Good analytical skills
