Enterprise Shared Services Manager

The Enterprise Shared Services Manager is responsible for managing the operational functions, including strategic business planning, operations process development, organizational activities, event administrative and systems support in order to meet fundraising and mission objectives of the March of Dimes in the markets within the assigned Region.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Work with each market to ensure they are utilizing Centralized Services in all areas that would benefit the Market. Complete and/or assign Enterprise Shared Services projects, as requested by the Director of Enterprise Shared Services from the ESS Mailbox, in a timely matter, according to the Service Level Agreement. These projects could include, but are not limited to, Acknowledgment letters, Sponsorship Invoicing, Thank you letters, Donation request letters, pulling FRED and CRM Report/Queries, etc. and will support various multiple Markets. 
  • Have consistent communication with appropriate market staff.
  • Execute workplace strategy and work with region and market leadership to ensure proper usage of space and virtual work options, for assigned Markets/Territories. Work in conjunction with Market staff and Landlord for all real estate office needs, aligning with the lease in place. Manage office moves/virtualizations as directed by the Office of Strategy and Transformation. 
  • Provide management control over all market equipment and supplies. Negotiate agreements and maintenance contracts for all new and existing equipment. Serve as an escalation point for market-level needs.
  • Work with Market staff, regularly, to ensure deposits sent to DPC are logged and entered into systems correctly. On the rare occasion, if market receives revenue, ensure proper cash handling policy is followed. Provide training/support for Market staff to pull reports/queries out of FRED, CRM, and Greater Giving, as necessary to monitor team/event activity. 
  • Oversee and/or perform all operational tasks related to event set up and tracking in event management databases (CRM, FRED, etc.), including analysis, financial tracking, and preparation for day-of, night-of event or post-event execution. Facilitate communication and feedback between market and national office, enforcing national standards and policies for consistent event registration data and cash handling. 
  • All other duties and assignments, as needed.

Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred and/or directly related professional skills and experience 
Skills/Experience: 
  • Previous Experience: Minimum of 5 years of directly related work experience in increasingly responsible positions 
  • Physical Demands: May involve lifting and carrying boxes; may involve traveling by car or plane to meetings and training. 
  • Equipment Used: Computer and Printer, telephone, copier and fax machine
