This position provides leadership and oversight of the adaptation and implementation of technical programmes (TPs).
Areas of Responsibility:
- Provide the Programme Leadership and Team Management
- Execute and manage technical program of Nutrition, Health, and WASH
- Respond on Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting on programmes
- Advocacy and External Representation
- Adaptation and Implementation of Technical Programmes
- Contribute to the development of technical programmes
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health or Health Sciences (Master’s preferred)
Skills/Experience:
- 5 years’ experience in the technical area of Public Health, Nutrition, WASH, Maternal and Child health.
- Experience in conducting and managing nutrition / health survey and related advocacy campaigns and activities
- Experience leading or overseeing programmes across a large geographic area (e.g. Province or National) and building and maintaining relationships with government and NGO partners and stakeholders.
- Experience in working on behaviour change IEC materials development and communications
- Strong experience in project management, including financial management. monitoring, evaluation (programme/project), and implementation and DME
- Strong organisational and management skills, with a proven ability managing a team (matrix management experience is highly preferred)
- Strong problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills (including facilitation), and Knowledge of community participatory advocacy models
- Eperience in working with community based approaches and models : CIMCI, BFCI, IYCF, CMAM, CTLS, community WASH
- Strong understanding of SUN framework for Cambodia and data analysis, research work
- Ability to demonstrate servant leadership and foster a collaborative, team oriented atmosphere
- Ability to pro-actively influence, network, and collaborate with national level government, NGO, bilateral donor, and UN Agency peers.
- Good understanding Country health system and population health and nutrition status
- Knowledge about MDG results and SDG targets in Cambodia
- Good understanding of National Health Strategy, Fast Track Road Map for Improving Nutrition 2014-2020 and other documents
- Excellent communication skills in Khmer and English (written and verbal).
- Thorough knowledge and ability of MS Office, knowledge of Lotus Notes is preferred
- Good understanding of community based water sanitation and hygiene needs and demands
