The purpose of the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) Warriors to Work (WtoW) program is assist and empower Alumni to secure permanent employment relevant to the Alumni’s specific skill set, experience, and personal and career goals. WWP’s Warriors to Work Manager is responsible for overseeing and developing the Warriors to Work team performance toward achieving department goals, managing the team budget, and providing overall strong leadership to the staff. The manager works collaboratively with the WtoW Regional Director and Director to impact overall programmatic growth and development.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Train, mentor, supervise, develop, and evaluate the Warriors to Work team in a given area
  • Support the creation of successful career strategies and objectives for Alumni and Family Support members to achieve their goals and potential.  
  • Develop, build, and maintain effective employer and community partnerships
  • Contribute to  the development of Warriors to Work materials and resources
  • Work in partnership with other WWP programs to ensure seamless, consistent quality service delivery
  • Speak to diverse audiences about various WWP programs
  • Track and record Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and outcomes for the Warriors to Work program
  • Prepare and submit weekly reports tracking career placements of Alumni
  • Enhance Alumni awareness of Economic Empowerment and enrollment into Warriors to Work through program collaboration
  • Other related duties as assigned
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s degree required

  • Self-starter, goal-oriented and able to prioritize and ensure deadlines are met

  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to remain flexible and work within a collaborative environment
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills
  • High level of proficiency with all Microsoft Office programs
  • Express knowledge/understanding of the challenges facing Post 9/11 veterans in pursuit of civilian employment opportunities
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Minimum one (1) year experience with an ATS or CRM system required
  • Two (2) years of supervisory experience preferred
  • Two (2) years of experience in a recruiting or sales environment preferred
