Support marketing operations and enablement of the Digital and Direct Marketing program, ensuring multi-channel quality assurance, accurate reporting, maintenance of constituent groups and queries as a member of the Marketing Technology & Measurement function. 

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Understand the Feeding America configuration of Salesforce NGOC (Feeding America’s database of record) in support of the Digital and Direct Marketing Program, including campaign set up; data sync with online database, and various data and analytic configurations within the system.
  • Perform regular uploads of campaign data and serve as subject matter expert in the setup, quality control, upload, and management of campaign production data files including campaign code description sheets, ongoing production jobs, and online/offline data sync files, cost allocation, etc.
  • Investigate data integrity/data sync issues to identify the cause and recommend a solution. Includes responsibility for constituent data collection issues in Blackbaud Luminate, accuracy of Luminate reporting, and logic for de-duplication of records.
  • Maintain ongoing training of staff on specific Direct Marketing and Digital configuration and business rules of NGOC
  • Regularly test the functionality and quality of Feeding America’s email and web efforts on various browsers, devices and email clients. Compile comprehensive testing feedback and work with agencies partners and FA staff to address issues. Investigate cause of issues found during testing and help determine solutions.
  • Maintain regular operational tasks (bi-annual network suppression file, telemarketing data files, etc.), serving as primary liaison to network members for questions about process and technical assistance.
  • Propose testing plans in online and offline database systems for variety of QA efforts to ensure consistent process is followed.
  • Work closely with agency partners to ensure that direct marketing/digital projects are executed with high quality and on schedule and that new projects are incorporated into vendor’s production queue.
  • Execute the operational plan for Digital 3rd party revenue (Facebook Fundraisers, Network for Good, PayPal, etc) – documenting business processes and interfacing with Philanthropy Operations to ensure service level agreement.
  • Prepare work instructions and solicit input to create and document business rules and processes of all Direct Marketing and Digital operations processes to be used by vendors of the constituent database.
  • Develop, disseminate and maintain documentation and ensure compliance with business rules related to data integrity and reporting.
Educational Background: 
BA/BS or equivalent experience.
Skills/Experience: 
  • 1-3 professional experience in marketing, database marketing or marketing operations, preferably at non-profit organization.
  • Knowledge of donor databases necessary. Experience with Salesforce NGOC or Luminate Online a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, including ability to manipulate, analyze, and interpret data.
  • Experience with quality assurance testing related to email messaging and web site properties.
  • Ability to document policies and procedures and communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong curiosity and interest in keeping up with marketing trends, comfortable and interested in learning new skills
  • Growth mindset with excellent problem-solving capabilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
