Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) is currently seeking a talented professional to serve in the role of Purchasing & Travel Administrator (PTA). This individual will provide critical administrative assistance in the daily domestic and global operations of the Finance Department. Reporting to the Manager of Purchasing & Corporate Travel, the PTA will interact with personnel and act as a liaison between Accounts Payable and Purchasing, ensuring compliance of all transactions.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Providing timely turn around on all requisitions, purchase orders and travel request
  • Run monthly payment statements
  • Distribute and track purchasing cards and training materials
  • Conduct quarterly employment verification
  • Collect, analyze & summarize data and trends
  • Administrator for Office supplies, card program, Travel and Expense Vendors
  • Respond to policy and procedure inquires
  • Provide support documentation as requested
  • Vendor management and data analysis, vendor reviews & research, RFP proposals and reports
  • Travel profile updates and training of travel and purchasing policies and procedures
  • Administrative support when conducting request for inquires and proposals
  • Purchasing and travel inquires through purchasing mailbox/calls
  • Transaction edits and spending limits
Educational Background: 
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a purchasing related environment
Skills/Experience: 
  • Minimum of three (3) years work experience in Purchasing
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel - VLOOKUPS & Pivot Tables
  • Certified Purchasing Professional (preferred)
