Under the direction of the Director of Digital Marketing, the Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting digital marketing efforts that drive awareness and acquisition for the YMCA of Greater Brandywine and our eight branches. The qualified candidate will be knowledgeable about current digital marketing tactics including website management, email development, video production, and social media; have experience managing digital marketing campaigns that drive qualified web traffic, have strong copy writing and project management skills; be proactive, organized and results-driven; and have strong interpersonal skills.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Writes, updates and maintains organizational website content ensuring accuracy, timeliness and relevancy. Assists with website development, usability and optimization as directed.
- Manages the development, writing, design and optimization of emails and landing pages to maximize conversion rates. Implements email drip campaigns and reporting as directed.
- Assists in building organizational rankings through SEO activities such as localization, keyword research and onsite optimization. Develops new website content based on keyword ranking opportunities.
- Develops, monitors, optimizes and reports on PPC campaigns including display advertising, social media and search. Conducts A/B and multivariate testing as directed.
- Drafts social media content and monitors all social media properties, ensuring timely responses. Serves as a resource to YMCA branches for social media best practices and management.
- Write and edits marketing copy for digital marketing properties.
- Manages video production, produces simple marketing videos as assigned. Partners with freelance videographers.
- Continually positions the YMCA of Greater Brandywine as a Cause-Driven organization throughout all digital marketing.
- Other duties as assigned.
Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, digital media, or related field.
Skills/Experience:
- At least 1-3 years of digital marketing experience.
- Knowledge of web content management systems, especially Drupal. Basic HTML knowledge a plus.
- Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google AdWords desired.
- Experience with email management systems. Solid understanding of email marketing best practices, as well as A?B and multivariate testing.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign desirable.
- Proficient in Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Extremely detail-oriented and meticulous with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible and creative team player with strong problem-solving and strategic-thinking skills.
Compensation/Benefits:
Salary: $40,000.00
