Habitat for Humanity of Oakland County is hiring individuals to work Part-Time as a Driver Helper/Warehouse Associate. This is a physical position that requires the pick-up and delivery of household merchandise such as furniture, appliances and cupboards. When not on the truck, associate will be assisting in the warehouse organizing merchandise and loading purchased goods.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Able to load and unload merchandise routinely at multiple sites
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Ability to communicate with Management, Drivers, and Customers clearly
- Maintain health and safety compliance in accordance with company policy
- Stack, pad, and secure items in position on truck to prevent damage during shipment
Educational Background:
Must have a High School Diploma or GED
Skills/Experience:
- Must pass a Criminal Background Check
- Good computer skills
- Must be able to lift 75lbs. loading and unloading items
