This position will be based out of the YMCA of Central Florida, Corporate Office located in downtown Orlando, Florida. One of the area’s largest and leading nonprofits; with over 2,000 employees and multiple Y Family Center locations across six counties in Central Florida. The Y is a cause-driven organization that provides over $20 million in financial support to adults, children and families which have resulted in lasting personal healthy change. Under the leadership of the Digital Marketing Director, this individual will act as the liaison between our Marketing and Sales teams. The incumbent’s role will be to qualify marketing leads produced from marketing campaigns by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers in a timely manner.

To be successful in this role, s/he should have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting quotas. This individual will use exceptional communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with prospects, participants and customers from first contact through qualification. Ultimately, the incumbent will boost sales and contribute to our long-term business growth.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Qualifying incoming top of funnel leads from marketing campaigns to opportunities.
  • Contacting prospects through cold calls, direct emails and marketing automation.
  • Represent the organization in a professional manner at all times.
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects, participants and customers.
  • Identify individual needs and suggest appropriate products/services and actions.
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities and maintain follow up task lists in Salesforce.
  • Perform additional sales and marketing tasks as assigned.
  • Report to the Digital Marketing Director on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) results.
Educational Background: 
Bachelor degree required; Communication, Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field preferred.
Skills/Experience: 
  • Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls).
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas and lead conversions.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM preferred. Marketing Cloud or other marketing automation (desired).
  • Understanding of marketing/sales performance metrics and quotas.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • High degree of focus on customer service.
