The Project Director is responsible for integrating Community Development/Health business strategy and development objectives for EVP. Responsible for identifying and prioritizing current projects, as well as developing business case, timeline and resource requirements for new initiatives. Responsible for assisting EVP in developing and establishing volunteer and cross-association committees or advisory teams. Also, responsible for overseeing department operations including budget, development revenue, campaign reporting, and cross-association collaborations on technology
Areas of Responsibility:
- Collaborates with appropriate internal staff and departments to develop an integrated business strategy and prioritization plan. Provides resource recommendations and develops systems and processes to support all activities.
- Assesses new development opportunities or programs and builds business case, project team or other related resources to bring initiatives to realization.
- Oversees budget and financial reporting, EVP reports and presentations, team meetings, strategic planning, and collaboration with other departments to access needed resources.
- Designs measurements to communicate success of projects and ensures project team meets milestones and deadlines. Ensures project and revenue requirements are captured accurately.
- Analyzes department results and trends to build meaningful reports on donor experiences and digital fundraising campaigns. Collaborates with department leadership to set priorities and improve actionable data.
Educational Background:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or related equivalent work experience
Skills/Experience:
- Seven (7) years of experience in business development, building project plans or business cases
- Five (5) years of experience in development and execution of strategic plans, setting priorities and meeting deadlines
- Five (5) years of experience with budgeting, resource allocation and financial reporting
- Demonstrated skill in project management including management of multiple concurrent projects
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and build relationships with volunteers
- Ability to analyze data, recognize trends and recommend initiatives to improve outcomes
- Travel required 25%
